Boxing: Gvozdyk vs Beterbiev Odds and Prediction

Two of the four light names are put to be merged at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 18. Undefeated OleksandrThe Nail Gvozdyk is producing his second WBC and lineal light heavyweight titles defense, while also undefeated Artur Beterbiev defends his IBF light heavyweight strap for the third time. The Ukraine native, Gvozdyk, is now a -140 favored with all the Beterbiev.
This is actually the third fight for Gvozdyk out of the previous four hes been favored by less than -250. The two previous bouts came against Isaac Chilemba and Adonis Stevenson and ended by knockout. Meanwhile, this is the first time Beterbiev was an underdog as his closest chances were -500 if he fought Radivoje Klajdzic in May which ended with a knockout.
Gvozdyk, the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist, is caught out of place, moving the ring searching for angles to allow his hands go around. He does with 14 of his 17 professional wins ending by knockout, Whenever the Ukraine native discovers his opportunities to land. His knockout might have come last December if he won both the WBC and light heavyweight belts against Adonis Stevenson from the round. That struggle could be the final for Stevenson because he had been put into a medically induced??coma on the next Monday and was in this state for several weeks.
Maybe fitting Gvozdyk in punching energy is Beterbiev as just one of the 14 professional fights have made beyond the seventh round and all have finished by knockout. The Russia native is extremely aggressive when he chooses to strike. Does he throw 1 punch at a time he sets up his chance and his foe using a flurry.
Both guys have exceptional conditioning but go about their fights in radically different ways. Beterbiev is like a pitbull, marching his opponents down looking to get into swap hands and a telephone booth, hes willing to consume a few shots when it means he could land.
Conversely, Gvozdyk is a technician, while keeping range with his jabs and straights, moving like a cat swiftly out of risk. That being said, if he smells blood into the water that he goes on a full-on attack. The big issue for this particular fight is will Beterbiev be able to corner Gvozdyk, or is the Ukrainians footwork going to keep him secure.
Odds as of October 9
