How To Bet Vasyl Lomachenko Vs. Jorge Linares: Ultimate Bettor’s Guide And Latest Betting Odds

On Saturday night, Vasyl Lomachenko will try to bring another domain in another weight branch to his achievements as he challenges World Boxing Association lightweight champion Jorge Linares. The audience at Madison Square Garden will be in for a strategic deal as both Lomachenko and Linares bring a wealth of experience and higher boxing IQ to the table with this matchup.

As always, my goal is to provide readers with value when betting on the fights. As stated by the betting odds at YouWager Vasyl Lomachenko is a big favorite at -1600 (wager $1,600 to win $100). While Lomachenko very well may win the fight, he’s clearly facing the very best competitor of his career thus far in Linares. In +750, there is a great deal of value on banking on the fact that Jorge Linares can pull off the upset. I’m constantly reiterating, it is about line worth. If the value isn’t there or there isn’t a true prospect of success for those chances underdog, then you need to simply stay away or seem at prop bets that offer that value.

In cases like this, I have a whole lot to say about Linares and feel there is value that produces the reward worth the risk.

With that being said, let’s get into the four best bets for Saturday’s world title fight.

FOUR BEST BETS:

1.) Jorge Linares to acquire +750 (wager $100 to win $750). I have seen this story before. Occasionally there’s a fighter that has yet another fighter’s variety. To date, Lomachenko hasn’t been truly tested because he fought and lost to Orlando Salido four decades and two weight classes ago. It should be noted that the ship has sailed on that rematch and not since Salido didn’t want it. In Lomachenko’s most recent fight against Guillermo Rigondeaux, his opponent was the smaller guy that just couldn’t compete in the weight. There is a point when a fighter keeps moving up in weight and finally finds himself in a struggle. Linares is an experienced and battle-tested fighter who has for the most part quietly gone about his company under the public’s radar. With three times as many fights under his belt along with three declines (all by knockout), the uneducated public’s perception is that Linares is going to be easy work for Lomachenko. The last time Linares was ceased was six years ago. The taller fighter with no longer attain and strong boxing abilities could frustrate Lomachenko as the battle goes. If Linares can restrain the space and force Lomachenko to move out of his comfort zone, Linares can find himself the recipient of a 12-round choice.

2.) Jorge Linares to acquire by decision +1100 (wager $100 to win $1,100). This is straightforward. I am picking Linares to win the battle and even though he’s 27 knockouts under his belt, if he defeats Lomachenko, it will be intentionally. It does not require a rocket scientist to psychologically feel comfortable with betting on the preferred. It’s only natural to be drawn in this direction. In this case, as someone that’s involved in the game as I am, after seeing Linares struggle Gesta and Campbell in addition to battling Crolla twice, I really don’t see Linares being intimidated by Lomachenko. Only two years separate the men in era (Linares 32, Lomachenko, 30) and this is actually the cozy weight class for the champion Linares.
